Fontys ICT
Minors
You can do a minor in semester 6 or semester 7 of your bachelor. Your regular bachelor programme of 240 credits can include only one minor.
N.B. The Teaching and Examination Regulations mention the option to add an extra minor to your studies. This always means that your study time is extended with one more semester before graduating. The 30 extra credits received will be specified in your certificate supplement. Requests to do an extra minor must be filed at the Student Desk.
HBO-ICT minors are offered by Fontys ICT and accessible to ICT bachelor students.
These minors are developed to fit into an ICT bachelor course. Language of these minors is English.
The minors are accessible to Dutch students HBO-ICT, international ICT bachelor students and selected foreign exchange students.
Fontys ICT minors are offered by Fontys ICT and are open to all bachelor students.
These minors are designed to fit into an ICT bachelor and are accessible to other students from various bachelor courses as well.
Transfer minors are pre-master academic programmes. To join a programme, you must meet the admission requirements.
These are special courses of study that enable you to skip a mandatory pre-master later on and immediately transfer to a Master’s programme of the Technical University of Eindhoven, JADS or the Tilburg University. Always check the admission requirements.
Fontys minors are offered by Fontys University of Applied Sciences and are accessible to all bachelor students of universities of applied sciences in The Netherlands. Some also accept exchange students. Most information is in Dutch only.
You can do a minor elsewhere in The Netherlands or abroad at one of the international Fontys partner universities.
Please note the Minor Abroad application deadline for Spring 2025 is September 16th, 2024 at 13:00 (application period opens September 9th).
(Deadline Fall 2024 has passed; in general application is a semester before the planned Minor Abroad).
