Are you pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a university of applied sciences in the Netherlands but Dutch is not your native language? Do you sometimes find it difficult to communicate in correct Dutch? Would you like to speak and write Dutch with more confidence? Then join the minor Dutch for non-native speakers and improve your language skills!

About the minor

In the minor Dutch for non-native speakers, you improve your speaking, writing, and reading skills. You will learn to present with confidence and delve into Dutch culture. The program includes active learning methods and assessments. After completion, you will be much more proficient in the Dutch language. All lessons are conducted in Dutch.

During this minor, you will be taught in a small group. The lessons are interactive and practice-oriented and provide many opportunities to practice your language skills. Your coach will help you with your study progress in individual sessions. This period is intensive but also very educational and fun. You will notice that you become more and more confident in Dutch, both in speaking and writing.
